Karro brings recipes, weekly meal plans and grocery lists together in a mobile application. Meal plans reflect dietary preferences, kitchen equipment and the number of servings needed.
Features
- Personalized meal plans: generate meal ideas and replace recipes that do not fit.
- Combined grocery lists: collect ingredients and quantities, add essentials and check off purchases.
- Cooking mode: follow recipes step by step with timers.
- Comparison with Karro Pro: compare estimated totals across up to three supported store branches in Quebec. Prices and availability may change.
Technical Implementation
The mobile application is built with Flutter and Dart. The API uses TypeScript, Node.js and Hono, with PostgreSQL for data storage.
